The New York District and Key Club International provides many opportunities for members and clubs to be recognized for outstanding leadership and service.

Distinguished Key Clubber Award
The Distinguished Key Clubber Award is a non-competitive award given each year to every deserving Key Club member and officer who complete the necessary criteria set forth by the New York District Distinguished Key Clubber Committee and the New York District Board, and has performed above and beyond the duties as a Key Clubber to serving his/her home, school, and community.
The Distinguished Key Clubber (DKC) form will be included in the Awards Booklet available in the fall, but meanwhile, please download the DKC Early Checklist below. This file lists the tentative criteria for this award so Key Clubbers can get a head start on meeting the requirements for this award.
The Governor’s Award
The Governor’s Award is an incentive program developed and administered by Governor Daniel Ivan Lin. This is a non-competitive award, and is distributedby season on a rolling basis. (Specifically, July-September, September-November, November-February)
Every time the criteria is met, the club will receive a certificate and a letter from Governor Daniel Ivan Lin congratulating the club for its achievement. The awards will begiven to your Lieutenant Governor at a District Board Meeting, andhe/she will present the award to your club. Here are the two awards:
Governor’s Outstanding Service Award
By having a member or officer submit a “Service Spotlight” article, the club has fulfilled the requirement to receive this award. Please clickthe Service Spotlight Submission file below and follow the directions to submit articles and pictures. Each club can receive a maximum of one (1) “Outstanding Service Award” per season.
Governor’s Perfect Paperwork Award
Any club that submits an Elections Report Form, all the Monthly Report Forms, and a Lt. Governor Evaluation Form each month during that season will receive this award. To see your club’s paperwork status, please contact your lieutenant governor or District Secretary Helen.
